They machine wash very well, as they are canvas rather than ultra suede. I like the extra wideness as I like to stretch out my toes. I find the green a bit too bright. I prefer the blue ones.

ordered a half size down as with most superstars and it fits fine. you can't remove the character from the shell toe, its fused on there. my only complaint is that the rubber feels strange, like its falling apart. after taking the shoes out of the box, my shirt was covered with white eraser shaving like pieces. after rubbing the midsole, my fingers got sticky and more of that stuff came off. i ended up scrubbing with reshoevn8er and the eraser shaving problem is gone, but it still has a little tack when touching it. the rest of the shoe is fine.

I ordered the size I normally wear in other brands of shoes and these fit perfect. I have slightly wide feet and the shoes fit comfortably, not too tight and it too loose either. I love the look of these shoes and got many compliments!

I wear a women's size 11 USA. The chart that displays the size ratio of Converse men's to women's says a men's 8 equals a woman's 10. I read the previous reviews about how these shoes run large so I opted for the size 8 men's and they are actually a little long. The width is o.k. but I wish they were a quarter of an inch or so shorter, but they still fit well enough. I have a pair of Converse shoes just like these except white, and underneath the tongue it says it's a men's 8 and they fit perfectly so I was a little surprised that these were on the long side. I've always loved the classic Converse tennis shoe whether it's a high top or low top. I recently purchased the black low top and like I said earlier, it fits well enough except for being a little too long in the toe. The good thing about that though, is that I'll never have to worry about my toes getting crunched when walking down steep inclines.
I don't know about men's sizes, but if you are buying a pair of these shoes for a woman, it might be a real good idea to go down a size from what she normally wears in other shoes.

I have been wearing Vans for almost 40 years; I probably have a minimum of 30 pairs. My normal size is 6 1/2 in women’s and that’s the size I ordered. The fit is true to size & these are authentic Vans. The image of a Charlie Brown Christmas on the shoe is exactly as shown online; perfect.

The last time he was here, he took his shoes off and forgot he had to put them up so the puppy won't eat them. You got it, puppy got the inside heel foam. I got inserts so that he can continue to use his current shoes, but he has these for school, when he goes back.

I ordered these shoes for my new job and I find myself wearing them more often than I expected. I normally wear a size 10.5... so I ordered my usual size and I am very happy that I did. They fit very well. I chose these for work since my wife said they are the perfect "look" for casual office attier. Not too fancy, but dressy enough to still look classy. Even with jeans. I wear them for entire shifts without my feet complaining too. And I often run around all day long and often try to take the stairs. I think they look great and would certainly buy another pair from this brand.
