Overall, a really great shoe. My feet are always getting hot, and these shoes provide great ventilation. They're light and easy to put on. Even so, they seem sturdy. I've been wearing them every day for a few weeks, (walking around, biking, etc.) and they haven't worn down more than any other shoe I've had.

I do think the laces seem a little weak, which is the only thing keeping these shoes from being a 5 star purchase. It's probably worth buying a new pair of laces and doing them up yourself.

ordered a half size down as with most superstars and it fits fine. you can't remove the character from the shell toe, its fused on there. my only complaint is that the rubber feels strange, like its falling apart. after taking the shoes out of the box, my shirt was covered with white eraser shaving like pieces. after rubbing the midsole, my fingers got sticky and more of that stuff came off. i ended up scrubbing with reshoevn8er and the eraser shaving problem is gone, but it still has a little tack when touching it. the rest of the shoe is fine.

I have big feet and these shoes are nice, light, soft. My only complaint is they are a little narrow. Setting shoe tree in them now to make a bit wider, or just more use should do it, otherwise 5 stars.

Looks pretty nice. Canvas upper is tough, but also took about a week to break in and become comfortable. Until it broke in, it felt a little tight and rubbed a bit. But for the money this was a pretty nice everyday casual shoe. A size 11 was fine for me (a size 11 Merrell, Adidas, Rockport, or Babolat is a perfect fit on me). There's no arch support, which was OK for my medium arches, but people with higher arches should consider getting an insole. I have to lace it a little snug or it creaks when I walk.

I wore the sole down a little faster than the Merrell shoes I usually wear. It's lasted me 5 months so far with a minumum of 6 miles of walking per work day. I expect it'll last another month or two before the sole wears down too far. (I wear out the outside heel and inside toe first.)
