Nothing sketcy about Sketcher. A few years ago I had some major foot trouble so since then I have been careful to protect my hoofies with ankle support and molded foot inserts. None of that matters if you have lousy shoes. I first bought a pair of Skechers Men's Afterburn Memory-Foam Lace-up Sneakers at a small box store after seeing them advertised. Best cheap shoe I ever wore. Liked them so much that I just bought a backup pair here...but I didn't have to. My older pair is still going strong. Lastability. So, if you're not some kind of shoe diva and are looking for a good ride...get yours. I like 'em!

These are very well constructed black leather dress shoes - they don't look cheap at all and the leather and soles are good quality. The buckles have to be undone to make them open up enough to put on. Unfortunately, my husband wears a size 8 (these shoes are size 8), but he can't wear them because they are too tight across the tops of his feet. I think these are better for men with narrow feet. They are quite awesome to look at, and I wish he could wear them but they will have to be re-homed.

Great shoes that fit well and are very comfy. They do not hit my ankle when I walk. They don't have a lot of padding like a running or walking shoe, yet are very comfortable on a walk. I have worn them on a 5 mile fitness walk and they were good. I also have bunions and they do not have straps that hurt my feet like some shoes. I usually wear them for casual wear with pants.
