ordered a half size down as with most superstars and it fits fine. you can't remove the character from the shell toe, its fused on there. my only complaint is that the rubber feels strange, like its falling apart. after taking the shoes out of the box, my shirt was covered with white eraser shaving like pieces. after rubbing the midsole, my fingers got sticky and more of that stuff came off. i ended up scrubbing with reshoevn8er and the eraser shaving problem is gone, but it still has a little tack when touching it. the rest of the shoe is fine.

It’s been really hard to find shoes that I like for the last few years but these stuck out to me as I was browsing. The black suede is subtle, with the white banding for contrast to really set it apart. I was expecting a heavier shoe but these are lightweight and made well with the durable suede leather. I can confirm that they are in fact real suede and so I made sure to Scotchgard the moment they arrived so that they would not get damaged by rainy Weather. So far they have held up extremely well.
The main thing that I do not like about them is that the laces come to the very very top of the shoe. That means that if you need to tie them at all you have about half an inch. You should definitely expect to be buying replacement laces.
