the coloring will come off if you have to clean it. also, if these get wet, your socks will turn blue. if kept dry, they are great shoes. more for fashion than athletic performance though.

I love Chucks. This was my first weatherized pair. They keep my feet dry and warm. These like most Chucks do not have ANY arch support. I recommend the arch supports sold by Dr. Sholl's . I use the Dr Sholl's in all my Chucks.
That being said I do not go trekking through deep snow or very cold temperature in them.
For about 6 inches or less of snow and 20-30 degrees F they are fine.
Unless you hate the color purple these are a good version of Chucks.

Super comfortable and light weight. Give the look of similar name brand shoes but with better comfort. Not the most supportive shoe but great casual wear. I’ve worn these everyday since I got them they have become my go to shoes!!!
